compassionate and inclusive therapy, at your pace.

Come as you are — we’ll figure it out together!

hi, i’m mack!

A young queer woman with long brown hair, blue eyes, and fair skin, smiling, wearing a blue T-shirt and layered necklaces, standing in front of a white door.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas, supervised by Dr. Lisa Grubbs, Ph.D, LPC-S. I specialize in supporting folks in figuring out who they are and what they want out of life. This might show up as processing childhood trauma, navigating relationships with others, or developing self-compassion skills.

No matter who you are or what you’re coming in with, my goal remains the same: to provide you with a space that is yours to show up as you are. Therapy shouldn’t feel intimidating, like going to the dentist or having that big meeting with your boss, it should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and free to be yourself.

I offer in-person therapy sessions out of my office in Allen, TX, which is also accessible to folks living in McKinney, Frisco, and Plano. I also offer virtual therapy services for all Texas residents.

thinking about starting therapy for the first time?

  • Not at all! Many people start therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply curious about themselves. Wanting support is reason enough.

  • The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once! You’re always in control of the pace.

  • That’s very common, especially if this is your first time in therapy. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan. We can start with what feels confusing, heavy, or present that day, and I’ll help guide the conversation.

  • Absolutely!! Feeling nervous, unsure, or even skeptical is incredibly normal. Starting therapy is a brand new experience and it’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out yet. It’s my job to help create a space that feels safe, supportive, and comfortable.

  • Therapy doesn’t always make folks feel better right away, but over time many people notice changes like feeling more grounded, understanding themselves better, or responding differently to stress and relationships. We’ll check in along the way to make sure therapy feels supportive and useful!
